Joseph Hambrick's Obituary
Joseph Hambrick, 58, of Charleston, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008, after a short illness.
He was the oldest of nine children. He was born on January 27, 1949 in Atlanta, Ga. to the late Nathaniel and Ora Mae Hambrick. Joseph was devoted to his family and was an exceptionally hard worker.
He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Hambrick; two children, Joseph and Cecilia Hambrick; two grandchildren, Rosetta and Lilly Hambrick, all of Charleston; eight brothers and sisters, Ora C. Hambrick and Brenda Kindell and husband, Oscar of Atlanta, Ga, Leon Hambrick of New York, Jimmy Lee Hambrick and wife, Shirley of Atlanta, Ga, Charlene Brown, Granvel Hambrick and wife, Dorothy and Gwen Daniels and husband, Keith and Rosemary Hambrick all of Stone Mountain, Ga. He will be sadly missed by a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 26, at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Charleston, with the Rev. Braxton Broady officiating.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
