Josephine Price's Obituary
Josephine Savage Price, 90, of Dunbar, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012, at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a 51 year member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess. Mrs. Price was born in Charleston and was married to her loving husband, Leland Walter Price, Sr., on October 6, 1940, almost 72 years ago. Josephine loved her family and loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her son, Leland Price, Jr. and parents, William Kenna and Nora F. Savage.
Surviving are her husband, Leland Walter Price, Sr.; sister, Wilma Collins of Charleston; daughter-in –law, Donna Price of Beckley; nephew, Edward K. Collins of Charleston; grandchildren, April Sabo and husband, Frank of Georgia and Lee Price and wife, Wendy of Princeton; great grandchildren, Clayton and Carleigh Sabo, Logan, Mattix and Ethan Price.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 6, in the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. Archie Snedegar officiating.
Friends may call at the mausoleum chapel one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
