Joshua Lee Burdette, 26, of Sissonville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at his home.

Joshua was an automobile mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carl Young and Oather Burdette, aunt, Deborah Jean Jarrell, uncles, Richard Lynn Burdette and Dale Wayne Burdette and cousin, Ashley Nicole Burdette.

Surviving are his fiancé, Amanda Glasman; children, Joshua Lee, Burdette, II, Braxton Allen Burdette, Savannah Dawn Burdette, Taylor and Tyler Harrison and Trevor Harrison; step-father and mother, Charles E. and Karen Lee Jarrell; brother, Kenneth Wayne Burdette; sisters, Kayla Nicole Jarrell, Monica Page Young, Breanna Tiffany Harding and Mary Jo Gail Young; grandmothers, Ruth Marie Burdette and Opal Young; aunts and uncles, Connie Sue Burdette, Ann and Barry Sweeney, Brenda and Brett Reed, Billy and Barbara Burdette, Eddie Burdette. Joshua is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 5, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Mike Good officiating. Burial will follow in Reed Cemetery, Sissonville.
