Joyce Carol Cobb, 62, of South Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on September 8, 2008, after a long illness.
She was born January 31, 1946

A special "Thank You" also to our loving friends Melissa, Diane and Ashley for their love and caring for Joyce during her last few hours here with us on earth.
She will be sadly missed by the love of her life, her long time companion, Jim Walker. She was the loving mother of Michael Bishop and his wife, Jennifer of Cleveland, OH, Carolyn Luciano of St. Albans, Bonnie Smith and her husband, Bruce of Charleston and her 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was a loving sister of Gary and companion, Melissa of South Charleston, Melvin and his wife, Marlene of South Charleston, Rodney and his companion, Bonnie of St. Albans, Roger and his companion, Onda of Cross Lanes, Timmy and his companion Becky of South Charleston, Linda and her companion Jerry of Cross Lanes, Darlene and her companion Greg of South Charleston and Marilyn and her companion Darrell of Charleston. She was the sweet aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 13, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Roy Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery on Spring Hill Mountain.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, September 12, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
