Joyce Kaye Prado's Obituary
Joyce Kaye Prado, 61, of South Charleston, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Hubbard Hospice House.
She was a teacher with the Kanawha County Board of Education for twelve years and was a member of the North Charleston Baptist Church where she served as treasurer for sixteen years. Joyce was a loving mother and a faithful wife.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Nathaniel Prado and father, Paul Richard Schoolcraft.
Surviving are her loving husband of 38 years, Mark Edward Prado; daughters, Mary Ellen Atkisson and Jennifer Kaye Prado; brother, David Schoolcraft and sisters, Mary Anne Hamrick, Kathy Rhoades and Paula Gardner.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, September 2, at the North Charleston Baptist Church with the Rev. Matthew Shamblin officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Branch Cemetery, Walton.
Friends may call two hours prior the service on Monday at the North Charleston Baptist Church.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
