Juanita O. Allen was called home on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 during her short stay at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV.

She was born on October 5, 1931 in Kimball, WV McDowell County to the late Roland and Sarah O'Blenis.

Juanita attended Carter G. Woodson School.  She worked a couple of jobs, but her main focus was taking care of her home by being a devoted wife and mother.

In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Robert K. Allen, Jr. whom she married on October 1, 1947; brother, Leonard O'Blenis; son, Robert K. Allen III; and grandson, Buster H. Hall, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Rolanda "Tiny Mae" Hall (Buster, Sr.), Wanda L. Allen, and Linda J. Allen all of Charleston; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Charleston with burial to follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.
