Juanita Faye Taylor Caruthers, 68, daughter of the late Ralph "Howard" and Blanche Taylor of Roane County, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012, at her home.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Spring Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl of Marion, Ohio.
Surviving are her loving husband, Ray Caruthers; daughter, Alicia Caruthers; step-daughters, Pam Christy and her husband, Buddy of St. Albans, Kelli Smithmier and her husband, Rob of Marietta, GA, Susan Dressel and her husband, Kurt of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Jeffrey Scott Rucker of South Charleston, Jessi McClellan of Waleska, GA, Hannah Smithmier of Marietta, GA, Niki and Wes McLean of Cumming, GA; one great grandson and three step grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Barbara A. Varney and husband, Don of Kimper, KY; brothers, Ray Taylor and wife, Betty of South Charleston, Roland Taylor of Vienna, William Taylor and wife, Karen of Georgetown, KY and Douglas Taylor and wife, Ferrabelle of Ripley; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 8, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Randy Branka officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 7, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
