Obituary

Juanita Carrie Shaffer Haynes, 57, of Charleston, passed away on January 8 , 2022 as a result of Covid.

She was a wonderful strong woman. She would put a smile on your face every time you saw her. She loved spending time with her beloved husband, kids, family and friends! She will be missed so much, but always remembered!

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Ann Hinzman Shaffer; and the love of her life, her husband, David L. Haynes.

Left here to cherish her memory is her father, Donald Lee Shaffer; son, Edwin Lee Shaffer (Jenn); daughter, Patricia Dawn Haynes; brothers, Mike Bostic (Tanya), Donald Lee Shaffer Jr. (Tania); sister, Regina Burdette (Auty), all of Sissonville. Granddaughter Stephanie Hicks; three great-grandkids, Alee Lloyd, Avah Lloyd, Caiden Myers; and lots of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her Alderson family, who called her crazy Carrie.

If you knew Carrie you knew she was just as crazy as she was fun!
