Juanita Starcher's Obituary
Juanita Summerfield Starcher, 87, of Charleston, died Monday, November 10, 2008.
She was born January 29, 1921, in Spencer and was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Elva S. Summerfield and the sister of the late Jewell Bailey and her husband Bill, who died in 2001.
She is survived by her husband Paul J. Starcher; son, John and daughter-in-law, Charmie; grandson Christopher and wife, Kim; niece, Jacque Gumm.
She was a graduate of Spencer High School, a member of The First Baptist Church, of Dunbar, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 133 of Dunbar; West Brook Garden Club.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 13, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Rev. Thomas S. Stevens officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Keller Funeral Home where an Eastern Star Service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Boulevard, W., Charleston, WV 25312. Very special thanks to caregivers Sherrill Rankin and Debbie Edgel.
