Juanita Gay Stickler Jones, 94, of Ripley, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

She was born on August 24, 1930, the daughter of Edward and Carrie Stickler, and the sister of brothers Sherrell and Ray Stickler

A graduate of Hamlin High School and Saint Albans Business School, Juanita worked many years as a medical assistant.  She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church.  Through life's ups and downs, Juanita was admired for her strength, self-reliance, and resilience.  A devout Christian, she lived her life in a humble, gentle, and caring way.

In addition to her parents and brothers, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Jones; her beloved daughter, Cindy Parsons, and her faithful canine friend, Maggie.

Juanita is survived by her loving niece, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A private service will be held at a future date.
