February 26, 1948 – December 20, 2022
Judith "Judy" K. Means, 74, of South Charleston, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
She was a homemaker and a great caregiver and helper to her many neighbors and friends at South Charleston Unity Apartments, where she lived at for several years.
Some of her favorite pastimes included walking her best buddy and best friend, her little fur baby Toby, who was always by her side. Judy also took every opportunity she had to spend time with her favorite little boy, her grandson and light of her life, Colton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Clara Edwards; husbands, Lowell Cummings and Charles "Charlie" Means; brothers, Tom Edwards and Junior Wilkinson; sister, Mary Ratcliff.
Judy is survived by her son, Dustin Means and her grandson Colton of Charleston; daughters, Tammy Woodall and her husband Kevin of Dunbar; Emma Vandale and her husband Johnny of Charleston and their children Jennifer, Jonathon and Whittney ; sister, Peggy Graham (Phil) of Cadiz, KY; brothers, Bob Edwards (Brenda) of Cleveland, OH, Woody Edwards (Kathy) of Elkview, and Fred Means (Karen) of Charleston. Along with many others who considered her "MawMaw Judy", and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. with Pastor Randy Ledsome officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.
Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
