Julia L. Byers, 73, of North Charleston, went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Julia Byers; brothers, George, Charles, Tommy and Dicky Byers; sisters, Delina Byers, Catherine Witham and Amunda Lasley.

Julia is survived by her brother, Dean Byers, and his wife, Nell.

Thanks to all of the staff at Valley Center for their care of Julia in her final years.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggested donations to Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association Animal Shelter, 1248 Greenbrier Street, Charleston, WV 25311.
