June Anne Turley Lanham, 89, of Dunbar, touched the hand of God on June 14, 2018.

She passed away at home with her family around her.

She was born in Middleport, Ohio on June 21, 1928. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Claude, for 64 years. She was a member of Dunbar United Methodist Church for 77 years, Dunbar Sewing Club, The National Audubon Society, a Girl Scout Cadette Leader. She enjoyed ceramics and car racing fan. She was also an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Ray Turley; husband, Claude G. Lanham; brother, Kenneth R. Turley: grandson, Matthew Clark Lanham; and several close friends who were considered her family.

June is survived by her son, Jeffery M. Lanham; daughter, Christy L. Chambers (Tim); son, Brian C. Lanham (Sandy); grandchildren, Amber and Callie Chambers, Jessica Lanham, Lindsey Lanham; infant great grandson, Rowan Matthew Lanham; sister-in-law Donna Turley.

June's family would like to express their appreciation and thankfulness for the kindness of the best caregivers and friends our family could ask for, Betty Coleman and Lee Kidd for all they did for our mother and for all of us.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 18, at Dunbar United Methodist Church, Dunbar, with Rev. Erin Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
