Karen Skeen Davis, 73, of Charleston, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House.

Karen never met a stranger and always had a smile. She did not let her physical disability stop her from living an active and productive life.

She earned her GED, served on several committees on local, state and federal levels. Her work as an advocate for others with disabilities will continue to improve the lives of many. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Doris Skeen; sister, Delphia Fleck; brothers, Charles, Allen, Aaron, Max and Phillip Skeen.

Karen is survived by he husband, Clyde Delmar Davis, bother, Marvin Skeen; and very special caregiver and friend, Katherine McCormick.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 19, at Charleston Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Pastor Randall Murphy officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Pathfinders at Charleston Seventh-Day Adventist Church 622 Kanawha Blvd. W., Charleston, WV 25314.
