Karen Marie Richardson, 70, of Dunbar, passed away quickly and peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2015.
She was employed by Union Carbide and later Dow Chemical as a Quality Coordinator. Karen was longtime member of The Dunbar Church of the Nazarene and recently moved to The Craigsville Church of the Nazarene. Karen spent many summers in Summersville at the West Virginia Nazarene Church Camp Grounds that she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Freda Pringle; and brother, Matthew Pringle.
Karen is survived by her husband, David Kirt Richardson II of Dunbar; son, David Kirt Richardson III and wife, Marianne, of Scott Depot; daughters, Nancy Christine Bernard and Lori Michelle Gonzales and husband, Nestor, all of Dunbar; grandchildren, Benjamin Hunter and wife, Amy, of Houston, TX, Ryan Bernard, Corey Gargas, Sydney Clark and Marland Clark all of Dunbar, David Kirt Richardson IV and Levi James Richardson both of Scott Depot; great-granddaughter, Lilly Elyse Hunter; sisters, Shelia Pringle of St. Albans and Sharen Franklin of Charleston; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Rev. Larry Board officiating.
Family and friends may gather two hours prior to service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
