Katherine Louise Hill, 92, of Dunbar passed away, Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House West.

She was born on December 20, 1924 to the late Adam and Macel Haynes.

Katherine had an undeniable love for the Lord Jesus Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Clay Hill; son, Reginald Rayburn Hill; brothers, William, Paul and Thomas; and sister, Violet.

Katherine is survived by her brother, Jim Haynes and wife, J.J. of Delray Beach, FL; grandson, W.C. Hill of Charleston; granddaughter, Amy Hill of Dunbar; great-grandchildren, Maclaya and Cade Hill of Dunbar; special companion, Herbert Hessom of Teays Valley; and many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Dr. Jonathan Lilly and his staff, the staff at Thomas Hospital, Hubbard Hospice House West, and caregiver Terri James.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 4, at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Gregory Hudson officiating with burial to follow.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
