Kathleen Belle Stout, 82, of Dunbar, passed away Saturday, April 14, at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation for Dunbar.

She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife and mother. Kathleen loved ceramics and was known throughout her family for her wonderful creations. She was raised in Kanawha City and had been a resident of Dunbar for almost 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack and Bill Middleton and her sister, Teresa Halstead.

Mrs. Stout is survived by her husband, Dean Y. Stout; sons, Michael Ray Stout and his wife, Vicki of Sissonville and Dean Wayne Stout and his wife, Yolanda of St. George, Utah; daughter-in-law, Kathie Stout of St. Albans; brothers, Robert E. Middleton and his wife, Joyce of St. Albans, Ted A. Middleton and his wife, Linda of South Carolina and Gary L. Middleton and his wife, Hanna of Connecticut; sisters, Betty Ann Walker of Dunbar and Sharon E. Peay and her husband, Steve of Charleston. Kathleen is also survived by her five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 18, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dave Thomas officiating. Entombment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
