Kathryn Mae Biagi, born January 8, 1922 to the late Peter John Paul Biagi, Sr. and Myrtle Kathryn Wright in Charleston, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Dunbar Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Kathryn, better known as "Kakkie", to little children, was an active member in her church all of her Christian life. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She not only gave of herself, but was most generous with her offerings.

Kathryn loved her TV. She was an avid fan of the Game Show Channel and the show Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? She also was a master at playing the game, ball and jacks.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her brother, Bud; sisters, Florence, Lola, Luisa, Audrey, Lucille, Mildred, and Mary.

Miss Biagi is survived by her brother, Peter Biagi, Jr.; nephew, niece, and caregivers, Peter Biagi, III and Paula Biagi Young. She also leaves behind many more nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Dunbar Care and Rehabilitation Center for their care and kindness, especially, Richard, Shawna, and Mike.

Private burial will be held at a later date.
