Keith K. Buckalew, 83, of Dunbar, passed away August 18, 2007, at Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was a retired machinist with Mouldagraph Corp. and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Dunbar. Mr. Buckalew was a US Army veteran of WW II, having served in the European Theater.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy H. and Orpha Dell Buckalew, sisters, Farel Virginia Mondy and Mildred Marie Jividen and by his brother, Worthy Hayden Buckalew.
Surviving are his loving wife of 25 years, Mrs. Ruth P. Buckalew; daughters, Karletta Sue Hart and her husband, Charles of Jennings, Fla., Sandra K. Young and her husband, Greg of Charleston, Diana Lynn Giffen and her husband, David of Louisville, Ky., Debra Rene Ramsey of Dunbar, Kimberly Dawn Haskins and her husband, Jay, and Kevina Carrillo of Fort Myers, Fla; step-daughter, Beryl Jean Poe of Dunbar; step-son, Wayman Allen Poe of Cross Lanes. Mr. Buckalew is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 22, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Doyle D. Young officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
