Kellar Ray Patton, 86, of Cross Lanes, went home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2026.

He was born on September 10, 1939, to the late George and Eria (Abbott) Patton.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy; daughter, Kimberly; son, Gary; brothers, Robin, Louie, and Rodney; sisters, Patricia Carpenter, Louis Fisher, and Barbara Elmore.

Ray is survived by his sons, Stephen (Terri), and Rick (Cindy); grandchildren, Rick (Elizabeth), Nikki Miller (Tom), Amber, Ashley Burns (AJ), Monica and Sybil Bell; numerous great grandchildren: brother Mike (Rose); nephew Freddy; and nieces Tamra Lott and Karen Mance.

A graveside service will be at 12pm on Saturday, January 31 in the West Virginia Chapel at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, with Bishop Gordon Ford officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
