Kelly C. Morris' Obituary
Kelly C. Morris, Jr, 59, of South Charleston passed away on July 10, 2016 at CAMC Memorial after a short illness.
He was born September 25, 1956 to the late Kelly and Mabel Morris. Kelly was a graduate of South Charleston High School and retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers, Marmet Locks and Dam.
In addition to his parents, Kelly was preceded in death by his brother, David Calvin Morris.
He is survived by his sisters, Linda M. Phillips (Clifford) of Winfield, Jeannie Morris of South Charleston, Barbara Register (Worth) of Wake Forest, N.C.; nieces and nephews, Jo Ferguson (Bill), Bonnie Bailey (Travis), Max Lewis, Kelly Perkins (Corbett), Karen Reeder (Matt) and Kevin Register; great-nieces and -nephews, Joe and Rachel Adkins, Turner and Bryor Bailey, Brendan and Mackinsey Perkins; and caring friends.
There will be no visitation or service at this time. A memorial service may be held at a later date.
Burial will be in Collierstown Presbyterian Cemetery, Collierstown, Va., near Lexington, Va.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Processing Center, PO Box 863765, Orlando, FL 32886-3765.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
