Obituary

Kenneth H. Tinsley, 87, of Cross Lanes, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at Clark's Christian Care in East Bank.

He was born on April 5, 1931, in Charleston, to the late Herbert C. and Lula M. Tinsley.

Kenneth retired from Bell Lines and Smith Transfer with 34 1/2 years of service. He was a Korean War veteran and was proud of his service to his country. He was a member of the Teamsters local 175 and a member of the West Virginia Antique Gas Engine and Tractor Association. He loved his old John Deere two cylinder tractors. He will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Pearlie Tinsley; daughter, Vicki Good and husband Rodney of Elkview; sons, Jimmy Tinsley of Cross Lanes, Scotty Tinsley of Cross Lanes; grandsons, Caleb, Mike and Anthony; granddaughter, Anita; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Alex; three great-great grandchildren; and two great-great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Elder Lewis Johnson and Elder Harold Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
