Kennith O. Roberts, 90, of Nitro, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2006 in Thomas Memorial Hospital, after a short illness.
He was a United States Navy veteran having served during WWII, and retired from the Painters Union, Local 970. He was a member and enjoyed spending time at the Nitro Senior Center.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Hazel V. Roberts and Mary Roberts, and his daughter, Patricia Thomas.
Kenneth is survived by his children and their spouses, Charlotte and Jack Chandler of Houston, TX, Linda and Robert Barker of Nitro, Kenneth and Juanita Roberts of Glen Allen, VA, Wanda and Herb Cline and Jerry and Brenda Roberts both of St. Albans, Sandra and Bill Anderson of Huntington sisters, Imogene Estes of Hurricane, Lorena Lewis of Hamlin; brother, Junior Curry of Culloden. He was PopPaw to 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 23, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Arley Cravens officiating. Burial will follow in Harveys Creek Cemetery, Lincoln County.
