L. Alice Phillips' Obituary
L. Alice Phillips, 79, of Dunbar, died on Friday, May 11, 2007.
She was born in Dunbar to the late William K. and Lula E. Neeley Roberts. Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur George Phillips in 2002, an infant son, Arthur George Phillips, Jr., and two sisters, Mary V. Hennen and Nancy S. Lacy.
Mrs. Phillips was a member of the First Church United Methodist in Dunbar, Eastern Star #16, Cottageville, and the Ladies Oriental Shrine BEnu RA #77, Charleston.
She is survived by daughters, Georgia A. DeBlois of Exeter, NH, Catherine M. Reitz of Laconia, NH; brother, William K. Roberts of California; sister, Emma L. Nichols of Melbourne, FL; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 14, at First Church United Methodist, Dunbar, with the Rev. Okey B. Harless, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, May 13, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: First Church United Methodist, 1401 Myers Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25064.
