Larry Richard Hill, 61, of Dunbar, West Virginia passed away July 22, 2023 after battling multiple health issues.

He was born August 21, 1961 to Elvin Amos Hill and Sally Vera Hill in Charleston.

Before becoming disabled, Larry was a mechanic, and loved working on cars.

He weathered storms most people could not dream of.  He endured more than any one person should ever have to, and did so with a positive outlook.  Larry was always getting people to laugh while being a prankster even when he felt his worst.  He loved fast cars, good music, and good smoke. His presence will be missed by all who knew him.  The space he filled in our hearts is now a vast desert without him there.

He is preceded in death by his father, Elvin Hill; brothers, Delmer Wesley "Sonny" Hill, Steven Hill, and Daniel Elvin"Danny" Hill; and sister, Katherine Louise "Sissy" Hill Fultz.

Larry is survived by his mother, Sally Vera Hill; daughter, Kandice Hill; brother, Harry Randall Hill; uncle, Harry Hill; aunt, Sue Plants; nieces, Danielle Hill and Cathy Jo Fultz; nephews, David Hill, Travis Stevens, and Jason Fultz.

A funeral service will by held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.  Burial will be in Eddy Chapel Cemetery, Leon.

Visitation will be 2 hours prior to to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Friends are welcome to join the family for music and food at The Shop, 1233 Ohio Avenue, Dunbar after the service.  In lieu, of flowers, the family asks that you bring a covered dish for the meal afterwards.
