Larry Paul Kinder, 59, of Charleston, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2009, at his home.
He was a former school bus driver for the Kanawha County Board of Education and was a motorcycle enthusiast who loved riding his Harley-Davidson.
Surviving are his loving wife, Judy Kinder; daughter, Shelley Williams of Cross Lanes; step-daughters Melissa Atkinson of Eskdale and Angela Morriston of Charleston; step-brother, Greg Kinder; mother, Rose Marie Smith of Dunbar; sisters, Linda Smith and Vickie Hastings of South Charleston; grandchildren, Kelsey and Brady. He is also survived by, and will be missed by, a host of friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, October 8, at the Holstein Cemetery near Ashford, with the Rev. Fairley McCormick officiating.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, after which time the procession will leave for the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Larry Paul Kinder Memorial Fund c/o City National Bank, to help with expenses.
