Larry "Weezy" Wayne Means, 54, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

He was born on June 25, 1969, in South Charleston, to the late Thomas Means and Mary Williams Means.

Larry loved to hunt, fish, and he loved his family dearly. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Cecil Means; and brother-in-law, Jerry Wayne Hill.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Betsy "BB" Means; sisters, Nancy Cogar (Paul) of Buffalo, Brenda Hill (Johnny) of Nitro; son, Christopher Means (Tasha) of Fairmont, Larry Wayne Means Jr., of Dunbar, Benji Layher (Lurraine) of Arkansas; step-son, Edward Leon Landis (McKayla) of Red House; grandson, Edward Landis IV of Red House; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family members.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, in Schultz Cemetery, South Charleston, with Pastor Paul Cogar officiating.

Friends may visit half and hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
