Larry Denver Monday, 76, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord, on Monday, January 29, 2018, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

He was born on January 7, 1942, in Charleston, to the late Denver and Josephine Monday.

Larry graduated from Dunbar High School.  He loved to fish and hunt.  He retired from Martin Steel of Huntington.

Larry is survived by his sons, Shawn Monday and wife, Debi, of Sophia, NC, Gregory Monday and wife, Robin, of Manteo, NC; sister, Delores Kupchak and husband, Donald, of High Springs, FL; grandchildren, Courtney Frazier of Randleman, NC, Shawn Zachary Monday and wife, Amanda, of Randleman, NC, Katie Monday of Wilmington, NC; great-grandsons, Ashton Monday, Jaxson Monday; nephew, Matthew Burgess and wife, Wanda, of Hudson, FL; and companion, Darlene Nida of St. Albans.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Billy Roe officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
