Larry Allen Morris' Obituary
Larry "Al" Allen Morris, 66, of St. Albans passed away on July 29, 2016 after a long struggle with cancer.
Larry was born to the late Wesley and Zona Morris in Racine. He served his country in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division in the Vietnam War. Larry worked at CAMC Memorial Hospital for 20 plus years.
Larry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping, and hiking.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, David Morris of Comfort; and sister, Nellie Kirk of Bloomingrose.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Chastity Shinault and her husband, Jeff of St. Albans; son, Shaun Morris and his wife, Faith of St. Albans; grandchildren, Chad Morris, Cassidy Lovejoy, Makayla Shamblin, Seth Morris, and Makenzie Morris; one great-grandchild on the way; sisters, Jean Taylor and her husband, David of Richmond, VA and Pam Purdue and her husband, Charles of Sylvester; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 1 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
