Larry Michael Young, 74, of Dunbar, WV died at home in his sleep on February 22, 2024.

He was born on June 22, 1949 in Charleston, WV to Dorothy and Cue Young of Clendenin, WV.

Larry graduated in 1967 from Herbert Hoover High School, where he lettered in three sports.  He attended Beckley College and West Virginia State University.  Larry joined the US Navy where he completed Navy Corpsman School, and served at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Virginia.

He is retired from Neurological Associates of Charleston where he worked as a Physician's Assistant for 47 years.  Larry was the former owner of Global Travel Agency.  He also enjoyed playing racquet ball and golf.

Larry is preceded in death by his father, Hugh Cue Young; mother, Dorothy Huffman Young; and brother, Danny Young.

He is survived by daughter, Amanda, her husband Nathan, and their daughter, Eliza of Grants, New Mexico; son, Daniel Young of Charleston, WV; brothers, Kenny and  his wife Toma of Clendenin, along with Mark and his wife Becky of Teays Valley.

There will be military honors performed at 12:00 noon on Friday, June 21 in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar.
