Lee Ann Kinder went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 9, 2023 after a long illness.

She was born April 16, 1954 to Manford and Reba (Farnett) Hayes. Lee Ann graduated from Dunbar High School class of 1972. On July 18, 1975 she married Tom Kinder. She worked as a radiological technologist for 49 years and retired from Spring Hill Primary Care. She was a longtime resident of South Charleston and a lifetime member of Dunbar Mountain Mission.

Lee Ann's world revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren, who she never passed up an opportunity to spoil. She enjoyed baking, sewing, crafting hand-made cards, reading, and baseball. She loved a good joke, trips with "the girls", American Idol, and dogs.

In addition to her parents, Lee Ann is preceded in death by her brother, Melvin Clyde Hayes.

Lee Ann is survived by her loving husband, Tom Kinder; son, Corey Kinder and his wife, Melanie; daughter, Kasey Corbet and her husband, Seth; sister Diana Jividen; and grandchildren; Harper Corbet, Weston Corbet, Kellen Kinder, Rider Corbet, Sutton Kinder, and Rowan Kinder.

Lee Ann's family will forever be grateful for the time, love, and care given to her by her best friend, Rose Carter; sister-in-law, Debbie Kinder; sister, Diana; and the home nursing staff, especially Kayla and Jennifer, at HospiceCare.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 12 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
