Legina Hensley Hardwick passed away peacefully at her home on December 23, 2021.

She was born on November 6, 1958 and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a mom to many more that walked through her door. Legina had an open heart and there was always a cup of coffee and advice when needed. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Legina is survived by her husband of 26 years, Christopher Hardwick; her children, Bill Steele, Jamie Steele, Shannon Pfeifer, Sammy Hardwick, Christopher Hardwick, Jr. and Charlea Hardwick; and her 14 beautiful grandchildren she loved with all of her heart.

A celebration of her life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, at the Hansford Center, St. Albans.
