Leigh-Ann Bowlin, 39, of Charleston, daughter of Mary Francis Risk Payne Totten, went to our Lord on Monday, December 24, 2007, to be with her nurturing grandparents and aunt Shirley, after fighting a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Leigh always put others before herself and loved unconditionally. She volunteered tirelessly at her children's schools and at church. Leigh was a dedicated worker as she took over operations of the family owned Risk Market in the early 90s. Later, she worked in ophthalmology with Dr. Michelle Rashid-Stanley, OD and was an avid lover of journalism.

J., Luke, Seth and Emma Bowlin all at home; mother and father, Mary Frances and William Totten of Spring Hill; paternal father, Emerson David Payne of Palm Bay, Fla.; sister, Sheryl Tate of Charleston; step-sister, Kimberly Ann Totten of Atlanta, Ga., step-brothers, Mark and Billy Totten of Winfield and several aunts.
