Leland Walter Price's Obituary
Leland Walter Price, 91, of Dunbar, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, at Villages of the Greystone in Daniels, WV.
He was retired from American Electric Power Co. and was a member and deacon emeritus of the Calvary Baptist Church. Leland was a US Army veteran, having served with the 8th Air Force during WW II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Josephine Price, his son, Leland Walter Price, Jr., brother, Bill Price and parents, Walter Wesley and Larnie Price.
Surviving are his daughter-in-law, Donna Price of Beckley; grandchildren, April Sabo and her husband, Frank of Georgia and Leland "Lee" Price, III and his wife, Wendy of Princeton; great grandchildren, Clayton and Carleigh Sabo and Logan, Mattix and Ethan Price.
The family wishes to express appreciation to Mr. Price's caregiver, Sue Price, for her wonderful care.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 17, at the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Doyle D. Smith officiating.
Friends may call at the chapel one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia, P. O. Box 1472, Beckley, WV 25802-1472.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
