Lena L. Legg departed peacefully from this life into the eternal arms of her Lord and Savior, November 5, 2017.

Born Lena Leota Wolfingbarger, June 23, 1923 of Emmons and Alice Wolfingbarger, as well as eight siblings, Mintie, Charles, Asa, Flossie, Lorraine, Inez and Delbert. Pre-deceased by all and her much beloved husband of 52 years, Kermit A. Legg.

She leaves behind two daughters, Janet Elaine and Judith Adele, both of Boca Raton, FL.

Lena was truly exemplary in many ways, beginning her employment as a young woman for Louis Paterno, Attorney at Law, then National Furniture Company and finally Railway Express Agency until her retirement. She was involved in countless church and civic volunteer roles including Parsons Chapel Willing Workers, Dunbar Women's Club, HOBEY, and Kanawha Valley Hospice.

She will be loved always and deeply missed by those who were blessed to have known her and her selfless generosity, always placing the needs of others before her own.

Her daughters wish to especially thank those family and friends who were so diligent in attending to her needs while residing in West Virginia.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Reverend Bill Berry officiating. Burial will follow in John Beane Cemetery, Sissonville.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 10 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
