Leola Collier Adams' Obituary
Leola Collier Adams, 80, of Dunbar, passed away Nov. 19, 2006, at her home.
She was a member of First Church United Methodist and was a resident of Dunbar for over 50 years. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was active in Beta Tau Dunbar, WV for 8 years. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her twin sister, Leona Collier Wright.
Leola is survived by her husband, Gerald R. Adams; son, James R. Adams of Dunbar, brothers, Theodore T. Collier of Pipestem and Charles Edward Collier of Bluefield, Va; sisters, Marie Collier White of Rainbow Lake, NY and Laura Collier Gibbons of Great Falls, Va.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 25, at First Church United Methodist with the Rev. Dr. Okey B. Harless officiating.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to HospiceCare, 1143 Dunbar Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25064.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
