Obituary

Leon "Peachy" Forest Justice, 81, of St. Albans, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 after a short illness.

He was born on July 21, 1939, in South Charleston, to the late Floyd and Ollie Justice.

Leon was a proud veteran of the United States Army in the 37th Infantry Division. In 1999, after 30 years of dedicated employment, he retired from the City of South Charleston.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Thelma Stolter and Louise Smith.

Leon is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Justice of St. Albans; sons, Thomas Lovejoy (Ashley) of Culloden, Matthew Lovejoy (Shannon) of South Charleston, and Harold Dotson (Casey) of Sod; grandchildren, Braxton and Jhett Lovejoy, Emma, Noah and Jase Lovejoy, and Hollie and Jonny Dotson; and his sister, Doris Hartwell (Roger) of South Charleston;

The family would like to thank the staff at Hubbard Hospice House West for their loving care.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, at the North Charleston Apostolic Church, Charleston with Pastor Anthony Moss officiating. Burial will follow in Teroc Cemetery, South Charleston.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at the North Charleston Apostolic Church, Charleston.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
