Leonard James Varallo, Jr., 77, of South Charleston, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021.

He was born on August 10, 1943, in Alexandria, VA, to the late Leonard Varallo Sr., and Lorraine Stillwell Owens.

Leonard was a graduate of Emory & Henry College, an Army veteran and a successful business owner of American Power & Lighting Systems.

He loved God, his family and nature. Leonard was known for his sense of humor and kindness. He will be greatly missed by his family and life-long friends.

Leonard is survived by his daughter, Robin Varallo of South Charleston; son, Kevin Varallo of Columbus, OH; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Hanshaw of Charleston and Haley Bell of South Charleston; grandsons, Isaac Varallo of Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Benjamin Varallo of Orillia, Canada; great-granddaughter, Caroline Hanshaw of Charleston; sister, Elaine Stroshane (Gene) of Pasadena, MD; niece, Heather Stroshane; nephew, Matthew Stroshane; and ex-wife and friend, Betty Varallo of South Charleston.
