Leroy Edward "Ed" Dozier Jr., 59, of Nitro, passed away unexpectedly on December 26th, 2019 after a short illness.

In his lifetime, Ed had a great love for sports, fishing, and his beloved sidekick, Cujo. But what he loved most of all was being Papaw Ed to his very much loved grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Edward Dozier, Sr.; stepfather, Carlos Bravo; sister, Toni Anderson; and his lifelong love, Debbie Hancock.

Ed is survived by his mother, Elsie; brothers, James and William; sisters, Bonnie (Barry) and Michelle (Jason); children, Rachael (Daniel), Christina-Bullet (James), and Blake; grandchildren Austin (14), Jaxin (12), Baylee (9), Avarie (5), Mason (5), and Caine (3).
