Letitia Monique Powell, affectionately known as Tisha, 44, of Charleston, West Virginia departed this life surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, November 5, 2022.

She was born on May 30, 1978 to Antoinette Maxwell and James Powell in New Jersey.

Letitia was preceded in death by her father, James Powell, and brother, Gerald Maxwell.

She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted mother, Antionette Bailey Maxwell; her beautiful children, Taijh, Dymond, Messiah, and Lionel; her precious grandchildren, Lyric and Taijh, Jr; her brothers, Tiwan, Kiwan, and Gerard; and will be dearly missed by all of her aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

We'd like to send a special thank you to those who extended their grace, love, and support.  Especially to her companion, her friend Bobby, along with nieces Tyara and Nautica, and her nephew, Lebron, who stood by and assisted with care.

Letitia was strong, loyal, witty, full of personality and unapologetic expression with a love language of acts of service such as gifting.  She loved a good time and great music, especially when singing along to it.  She enjoyed walking and spending quality time with her loved ones.  She took pride in being a good friend and doing good to those who were good to her.  She loved to laugh and to make light of anything thrown her way.  Her kindred spirit will be missed amongst many.
