Lillian Elizabeth Cornes' Obituary
Lillian Elizabeth "Tookie" Cornes, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at her home.
She was formerly employed by the Wayne County Tax Department, the Tennessee Transmission Co. and by Hope Natural Gas Co. "Tookie' was a member of the Dunbar Church of Christ.
Surviving are her sisters, Faye Casdorph and Garnett Morton of Charleston; brother, Jim Cornes of Ceredo. She is also survived by her special niece, Nancy Stepson and nephew, Bernard Casdorph, along with many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 4, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Donnie Joe Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Lucille Sigmond, Mary Lawrence, Evelyn Dudley, April and Chance for their support.
