Lillie Mae Marks' Obituary
On April 28, 2006, Lillie Mae Marks (nee Carter), a 65-year resident of Dunbar, passed away in Rockville, Md.
She was born in Charleston, where she married her childhood sweetheart, Berea Graden Marks on June 27, 1931, who died Dec. 14, 2000.
She was mother of Richard Berea Marks, Carolyn Sue Abbott, Benton Richard Marks, and the late Ruby Marks and Jackie Leroy Marks. Her surviving grandchildren are Teréza Marks (Glenn), Jackie Leroy Marks Jr., Richard Allen Marks, David Marshall Marks, Rebecca Abbot (Schuch), George Abbot III, Rachel Abbott, and Sharyn Abbott. Also surviving are several great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 6, 2006 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Robert Barbazette officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, May 5, 2006 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
