Linda Fern Casto, 79, of Sebastian, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

She was a wonderful stay at home Mom for 16 years. She then pursued a career in cosmetology where she taught at the Charleston School of Beauty Culture for many years.  She attended and was brought up in the Bancroft Church of God Mission founded by her Grandfather R.L. (Fannie Fern) Gibson.  She was an attender of First Baptist Church of Wabasso, in Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil E. Gibson Sr. and Norma "Sunny" Gibson.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Casto, Sr.; daughter, Tammy (Greg) Ferrell; sons, James "Jimbo" (Renee) Davis, Jr., and Robert "Robby" (Robin) Davis; grandchildren , Josh Davis and Holly (Ryan) O'Neill; and four great grandchildren,; brother Cecil "Cooney" (Sharon) Gibson Jr; niece Paula Wandling; and nephew Cecil (Tracy) Gibson, III.; stepchildren, Ed (Stephanie) Casto, Jr., Kevin Casto, Aaron (Carla) Casto, and Catie Casto; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Gardens of Memories, Sissonville.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to WV Gideons International Charleston, 724 Indiana Avenue, Charleston, WV 25302, a special organization to Linda.
