Lisa Darlene Young

Lisa Darlene Young, 55, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2026.

She was born to Joseph and Carol Burgess on May 24, 1970.

She worked in home health/caregiving for the last decade. Lisa loved her pets and often took in cats and dogs. She enjoyed interior design, cake decorating, music and singing.

Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Joe Burgess; her niece, Miranda McCune; grandmothers, Vada Turley and Louise Pauley.

She is survived by her one and only daughter, Madisen Young; her grandson, Greyson Strickland; her mother, Carol Burgess; her sisters, Debra McCune and Angela Frederick; Madisen Young; her nephew, PJ McCune.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor James Wright officiating.

Family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
