Loeda S. Shaffer, 85, of Charleston, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011, at her home.

Loeda was preceded in death by her parents, Barcie and Elbie Fisher; husbands, Joseph Herman Milam and the Rev. Harry L. Shaffer; daughter, Barbara Ann Garnes; sisters, Gatha Halstead, Dorothy Faber, Lenida Witt; brothers, Ovide, Archie, Alton, Minuard.

Mrs. Shaffer is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Dallas Pickens of Ripley; sisters, Pauline Blaire of OH, Velda Garnes of Poca; brothers, Gilbert Fisher of GA, Arthur Fisher of Sissonville; grandchildren, Dewayne and wife Carol Pickens, David and wife Jeanette Pickens, Scott and wife Melissa Pickens, Larry "Joey" Garnes, Allen and wife Jo Garnes; great grandchildren, Angela, Hannah, Dusten, Bethaney, Gracie, Noah, Melinda, Scott, II, Dallas, Jasmine; great great grandchildren, Alexis, Scotty, III, Cameron.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Jerry Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Gardens of Memories, Pocatalico.
