Lois Geraldine "Gerry" Jeffrey, 83, formerly of Dunbar, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at the Candle Light Cottage in St. Albans.

She was born June 25, 1928 and was raised in O'Brien, Clay County, WV.

Gerry was a bowler and enjoyed many years in the Dunbar leagues. When she went to a party, she was the life and joy of it! She liked to travel with her husband and they visited many places during their life together. She and Charlie lived many years in Dunbar at different locations, but the last address was on Woodland Avenue.

After Charles' death in 1995, Gerry lived at Regency Place for a few years and then moved to Broadmore Assisted Living at the Winfield exit area and finally lived at Candlelight Cottage, St. Albans until her death.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Jeffrey and by her parents, Harley and Ethel Smith Johnson.

Surviving are her brother, William Harley "Bill" Johnson of Ohio and caregivers, Bill and Violet Hall and children.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 3, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. James McCallister officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
