Lois L. Thurston's Obituary
Lois L. Thurston, 83, formerly of Dunbar, died August 22, 2006, at the home of her son, David B. Thurston, of Clendenin.
She was retired from West Virginia State College and the former Cohen Drug Store in Dunbar. Born Lois L. Pauley in Marmet, she was a resident of Dunbar for almost 50 years before moving to Clendenin in 2002.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, in 1976 and her son, Bobby, in 2003.
In addition to her son David, and his wife, Donna, she is survived by daughters, Dimitri Murray and her husband, James of Carrollton, Va., Beth Brittingham of Bethany Beach, De., and sister, Betty Gunter of Norfolk, Va. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
The family will receive visitors at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, on Friday, Sept. 8, from 4:30 to 6:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice in our mother and sister's name.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
