Lola Fletcher Gandee, 92, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2022.

She was born on November 21, 1929 to the late Harry Fletcher and Hattie Gorby Fletcher Hedrick.

In addition to her parents, Lola was preceded in death by her step-father, James Hedrick; her husband of 71 years, Lewis Ed Gandee; daughter, Connie Gandee; granddaughter, Mika Gandee Brent; brother, Harry Fletcher, Jr.; and sons-in-law, Billy Fife and Keith Cargill.

Left to cherish a lifetime of beautiful memories are her children, Vicki Cargill, Mike Gandee (Bevie), and Patty Fife; grandchildren, Kevin, Stephanie, Matthew, Jennifer, Kelly, Jessie, Brianne and Stephen; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Jim Hedrick (Linda); brother-in-law, Gene Gandee (Carla); and sister-in-law, Peggy Morris.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice Home Care and Hubbard Hospice House of Charleston for their care and compassion.

A family graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 17, in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar with Rev. Pete Thompson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.
