Lorenzo Maurice "CC" Venson Sr., 53, born in Troy New York, later relocated to Dunbar, WV. Went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2022.

Lorenzo was educated in the public school system and briefly served in the United States Army. Lorenzo was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. "CC" as he was so lovely known by his family and friends touched many lives through his smile and loving outgoing personality. CC will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Lorenzo "CC" Venson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgiree Prince, Booker Prince Sr., and Andrew Venson from Troy, New York.

Left to cherish Lorenzo's memory is his parents, Fred Venson Sr. and Betty Venson of Dunbar; brother, Fred Venson (Cesily) of Dunbar; lifelong companion, Iva Thomas of Dunbar; children Lorenzo Jr., La' Ren, Larell Venson of Dunbar; grandchildren, Zomarii, Za'Hara, Za'Aire, Raelynn Venson of Dunbar; three wonderful nephews, Mies of Atlanta, GA., Marsalis of Valdosta, FL., and Mathius of Dunbar; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m on Wednesday, September 7, at Ferguson Baptist Church, Institute. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
