Loretta Juel Conner's Obituary
Loretta Juel Conner, 78, of Charleston, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Hubbard Hospice House, after a short illness.
She retired from Thomas Memorial Hospital with over 35 years of service as a surgical technician. Loretta will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Art and Pamela Shamblin; daughters, Denise Stricklen, and her husband J.D., Pam White; brothers, Rishel Walker, Glen Walker, Theodore Walker, Arlan Walker; sisters, Emogene Underwood, Linda Walker; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the nurses at NICU and 4 South, in CAMC General and the staff at Hubbard Hospice House for the quality care and attention given to their loved one.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 15, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Lee Swor officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38148.
